Freeman McMurrick have worked closely with Proclaim Management Solutions for almost 10 years, delivering straightforward claims handling solutions to our brokers and their clients. During this time, Freeman McMurrick and Proclaim have developed an in depth knowledge of claims matters, enabling us to provide superior service to our clients.

Proclaim Claims Management services are provided free of charge to Freeman McMurrick clients in the facilities above, for claims within and above the excess. Proclaim account managers are qualified solicitors, with authority from the Insurer to settle claims. On under excess claims, Proclaim work co-operatively with brokers and their clients to deliver the best result possible.

The Freeman McMurrick and Proclaim operating model is based on early intervention. The earlier the incident is reported to Proclaim, the earlier the investigations can take place. Early intervention can:

  • Minimise brand damage to both you and your client's business

Claims Handling Protocol

  • Clients and their brokers are asked to report all incidents to Proclaim within 24 hours (or as soon as possible thereafter), regardless of the apparent size of the incident. This is done by completing an Incident Report Form which can be
    • Completed online,
    • Faxed back to Proclaim on 03 9650 7044, or
    • Logged over the phone on 03 9660 5200.
  • Proclaim then assist the client by taking over the management of the claim. Both the client and the third-party will be asked to provide written accounts of the events leading up to the incident and after.
  • Proclaim will investigate and liaise with your client and the third-party to come to a satisfactory conclusion.
